Privacy Policy

Last updated: June 2026

1. What we collect

Creators: email address and name via Apple Sign-In or Google Sign-In.

Voters: no personal information collected. Votes are stored with an anonymous token tied to your browser — no name, email, or account required.

2. How we use it

Creator accounts are used to authenticate you and save your polls. Anonymous voter tokens are used to attribute your votes to your session and to measure how many voters become creators (our growth metric). We do not sell any data to third parties.

3. Data storage

All data is stored in the United States (us-east-1 region). By using Settle, you agree to your data being processed in the United States.

4. Third-party services

We use Supabase for authentication and data storage, PostHog for analytics, and RevenueCat for subscription management. Each service has its own privacy policy.

5. Data deletion

Creators can delete their account and all associated data at any time from Settings → Delete account within the Settle app.

Voter tokens are stored for up to one year via a browser cookie, after which they expire automatically. No personal information is attached to these tokens.
